JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, December 2025 – We are proud to announce that our Assistant Chief Concierge Manager, Eduardo Rodriguez, has been elected President of Les Clefs d’Or Qatar for the 2025 – 2027 term, reinforcing the hotel’s dedication to leadership and service excellence.
A graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education, Eduardo’s hospitality journey began in housekeeping, where he built a strong operational foundation. After two years, he transitioned into a hotel butler role, an experience that introduced him to the world of concierge services and sparked a lasting passion for guest engagement and personalized service.
Upon relocating to Doha, he assumed the role of Concierge Supervisor, where he played a key role in elevating concierge operations and enhancing guest experiences. His dedication and commitment to excellence led to a major career milestone in 2018, when he successfully passed the rigorous Les Clefs d’Or assessment, officially joining Les Clefs d’Or Qatar.
Since then, Eduardo’s leadership within JW Marriott Marquis Doha has been exemplary. He was elected General Secretary of Les Clefs d’Or Qatar in 2019, supporting both local and international communications and operations. In parallel, he contributed to the development of future hospitality professionals as a Concierge Course Trainer at Al Rayyan International University College, in collaboration with the University and Qatar Tourism.
Eduardo’s leadership trajectory continued with his election as 2nd Vice President (2021–2023), followed by 1st Vice President (2023–2025) of Les Clefs d’Or Qatar. From 2023 to 2025, he also served as Chairman of the Membership Committee, overseeing the assessment of Clefs d’Or aspirants and safeguarding the association’s high standards in Qatar.
Internationally, he has represented Qatar’s concierge community at several prestigious global forums, including the UICH Les Clefs d’Or International Congress in Istanbul (2023), Madrid (2025), and the UICH Les Clefs d’Or Pan Asian Congress in Boracay, Philippines, strengthening international collaboration and visibility.
Most recently, he was promoted to Assistant Chief Concierge Manager at JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, alongside his election as President of Les Clefs d’Or Qatar for 2025–2027, where he will lead the organization into a new era of growth, professionalism, and global engagement.
